As Microsoft unveils its new Copilot+ PCs, a range of devices are set to leverage advanced AI capabilities to enhance user experiences across creative, professional, and everyday computing tasks. These PCs, developed in collaboration with leading OEMs including Acer, ASUS, Dell, HP, Lenovo, Samsung, and Microsoft’s own Surface lineup, integrate powerful neural processing units (NPUs) designed to handle intensive AI computations efficiently.

Surface Copilot+ PCs
Microsoft’s own Surface lineup is at the forefront of the Copilot+ initiative. The new Surface Pro and Surface Laptop are equipped with NPUs that provide robust AI-driven functionalities. The Surface Pro, a flexible 2-in-1 device, now features improved speed and battery life, alongside an optional OLED display and an ultrawide field-of-view camera optimized for Windows Studio Effects. The Surface Laptop offers impressive battery longevity, up to 22 hours of local video playback, and comes with advanced AI features including an AI-enhanced camera and premium audio.

Acer's Swift 14 AI integrates a 2.5K touchscreen ideal for precise drawing and editing. It features Acer PurifiedVoice 2.0 and Purified View, accessible through a dedicated AcerSense button, bringing AI-enhanced audio and video capabilities to the forefront.

The ASUS Vivobook S 15 is a high-performance device powered by the Snapdragon X Elite Platform with built-in Qualcomm AI. Dell introduces five new Copilot+ PCs, including the XPS 13 and Inspiron series. These devices are designed to offer groundbreaking battery life and unique AI experiences. The XPS 13, for instance, is powered by Snapdragon X Elite processors, featuring a premium design with AI noise reduction capabilities.
HP
HP’s OmniBook X AI and EliteBook Ultra G1q AI PCs offer sleek designs with advanced mobility and performance. They come with AI-powered productivity tools such as real-time transcription and meeting summaries, and feature a high-quality camera with automatic framing supported by Poly Studio’s audio for enhanced virtual interactions.
Lenovo
Lenovo’s Yoga Slim 7x and ThinkPad T14s Gen 6 cater to both consumers and commercial users. The Yoga Slim 7x is optimized for creative tasks with a 14.5” 3K Dolby Vision touchscreen, while the ThinkPad T14s Gen 6 includes enterprise-level AI performance, Wi-Fi 7 connectivity, and up to 64GB of RAM.
Samsung
Samsung’s Galaxy Book4 Edge is designed for maximum portability with an ultra-thin and light build. It features a 3K AMOLED display and Wi-Fi 7 connectivity, providing up to 22 hours of video playback, making it ideal for both work and entertainment on the move.

Adobe Integration: Applications like Photoshop and Lightroom are optimized for NPUs in Copilot+ PCs, allowing faster and more efficient creative processes.
DaVinci Resolve Studio: Utilizes NPU-accelerated Magic Mask for applying visual effects effortlessly.
CapCut: Leverages NPU for quick background removal in videos.
Cephable: Enhances adaptive input controls using NPU-powered camera pipelines.

Starting Hardware:
The initial Copilot+ PCs will debut with the Snapdragon® X Elite and Snapdragon® X Plus processors, known for their exceptional performance per watt, courtesy of the custom Qualcomm Oryon™ CPU.
The Snapdragon X Series, featuring an encompassing chip (SoC) with 45 NPU TOPS, integrates the premium Qualcomm® Adreno™ GPU, delivering stunning graphics and immersive entertainment experience.
